Asha Dixon-Woodley, LMSW

I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Michigan. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Luther College and a Master of Social Work Degree from University of Iowa. I have been in the social work field for 10+ years providing services to individuals, children, and families. I practice from a trauma informed and strengths-based approach, using several treatment modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Approach. I believe we all have the capacity to grow and change. I am committed to providing care to individuals, who are experiencing challenges in daily life. I believe the client-counselor relationship is pivotal to the success of my clients’ treatment and I strive to provide a safe and comfortable environment where clients can share their thoughts and feelings in confidence.

I am experienced in working with a broad variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, grief/loss, low self-esteem and more.

It is my goal to provide a positive and healing therapy experience for my clients.
