Holly Henderson, LMSW

I am a Masters Level Clinical Social Worker and have State of Michigan licensure. I received my degree from Michigan State University.

I have experience in working with adults, children, families and couples, in the areas of depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral problems, trauma, and stress reduction.

I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Play Therapy and Animal-Assisted Psychotherapy. Since the pandemic, I have been providing more Telehealth based therapy and continue to do so.

When I am in the office and not doing Telehealth, my co-therapist Bo~Bo joins in. He is a 7 year-old Dachshund/Terrier mix. His job is to provide comfort and joy to all those he meets.

Everyone experiences hurt in life. I believe it is of the utmost importance to heal from past hurts in order for the heart and the brain to work in harmony. Seeking help is one of the bravest things a person can do for themselves.

I consider it an honor and privilege to bear witness to someone's pain and empower them to live a full and happy life.
